<div>On BC Family Day, Monday February 21, 2022, Wayne Wiltse sustained catastrophic injuries in a motor vehicle accident on his way to work as Director of Lift Maintenance at Whistler Blackcomb. As a result, life going forward will require a wheelchair. We are fundraising to support Wayne and his family in his recovery, including home renovations and the purchase of significant accessibility equipment.

<div>After three months at Vancouver General Hospital, Wayne has moved to G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Center for intensive therapy, and the hope is he can return home to Pemberton this fall. To facilitate his homecoming, home renovations need to begin as soon as possible and specific accessibility equipment, including an electric wheelchair and an accessible vehicle, needs to be acquired.
