WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR, the internationally beloved literary tale of world champion gymnast Dan Millman and his mystical mentor Socrates is about to go live on stage in Los Angeles.

After years of development, rewrites and live stage readings, I'm thrilled to share that we will be workshopping WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR at the famed Odyssey Theatre in West Los Angeles on May 2nd, 2025 as a visiting production for 18 performances.

I first discovered this literary phenomenon way back in the mid-90s on the shelf of my Aikido dojo. Fast forward to 2017 when I was in my car, driving home from an Aikido seminar. It suddenly struck me: WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR would make a wonderful play! As a professional film and theatre-maker, I sought out Dan Millman, the author, and gratefully, generously, he agreed.

With a global fanbase, attention is as high as Dan's horizontal bar. Now that our amazing cast and a fantastic theatre have been finalized, we are all set to open in May but there is still so much to do. This GoFundMe campaign is designed to offset production costs associated with mounting this soon-to-be legendary show.

What's next? Where will PEACEFUL WARRIOR go from here? Our strategy is to take this story to New York after working out the kinks in LA. With your help, our "Dan" and "Socrates" will be sharing their wisdom and friendship with audiences from coast to coast!

As our main character Dan discovers, "there are no ordinary moments," and the journey of this stage show exemplifies just that. To date, WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR has changed so many lives, first as a book and then as a movie. As a stage play, we believe that an entirely new generation will be moved by Peaceful Warrior's inherent message of happiness and love.
