<div>Friends of Waring (FoW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017 by Spring Garden community members who had a desire to support our neighborhood school, Laura W. Waring Elementary (K-8 grades).

</div>
<div>In March 2022, FoW opened the library doors (for the first time in over 10 years!) to all Waring students with fantastic support from our community volunteers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our library is currently staffed and managed solely by our passionate volunteers (there are no school employees allocated for this effort). FoW believes the library &amp; love of reading is critical to the future outcome and success of all Waring students.

<div>These funds will be used to sustain the Waring library. Funds will be used for library books, supplies and our ultimate goal of funding staff to manage the library to allow for more student access and programming. We hope you will support this important community initiative.
