<div>I didn’t want to make a gofundme, but I want the best for Walter. As you all know, Walter got scared of the storm and escaped our backyard. He was gone for 24 hours. Walter is hairless and has extremely sensitive skin. We found him in the woods and he is severely sunburned, his paw pads are burned off, he was covered with thorns and stickers, and was severely dehydrated.

<div>we took him to the ER and it was going to be about $1500. They wanted to do blood tests and test for organ function due to possible shock. We had to settle with pain meds and ointment.

<div>Last night, I posted an update on Walter and someone who works at the vet we took him to messaged me and said he needs to come back immediately. He is covered in blisters and bites and this could cause him to go into shock with the amount of pain. We are taking him back in, and i’m not sure what will need to be done. The additional testing may be necessary at this point.
