<div>Due to the horrifying effects of Hurricane Melissa, many of my family members’ lives have been left in devastation. <strong>Relatives and members of my community have lost their homes and are in desperate need of necessities to restore the foundations of their livelihoods.</strong> Rooftops of homes have been torn apart, houses and communities flooded out, and many people have been left without basic necessities such as food and clean water. This hurricane has truly caused a lot of damage to the country of Jamaica.
