Vivianna's Recovery Assistance & Return to Success
Donation protected

Our Vivianna Vidales, turned 22 years old on May 23, 2024, but on May 19 she decided to go out to celebrate her birthday weekend and was unfortunately victimized in an altercation that resulted in her being shot in the stomach, all while trying to just leave with the party she arrived with. Vivi’s best friend/roommate was able to drive her to the hospital nearest, where she was then transferred and induced into a medical coma so they could perform surgery to remove the bullet. She had to have two multiple-hour, long surgeries as she was struck in the lung, liver and stomach. She was unconscious and unable to speak, only able to communicate through blinks in sign language at first. Vivi has been so strong and her recovery has been prosperous thus far, but not quick enough for her to return to her daily routines or work anytime soon. She is now currently disabled with the amount of recovery time needed. We don’t know when Vivianna will return to work.
Vivianna works at a high school as an IA for gifted children. She was the activities coordinator, as well as a friend/mentor to all of her students. She truly loves and adores all of her students. she’s devastated she won’t be able to teach summer school this year as she has previously. She is also a manager in the food industry and has been on and off since high school. Vivianna has a huge heart, and always is willing to help when she can. She’s so very independent for a young woman, with a great head on her shoulders. She’s outgoing and uplifting, no matter what. She truly has a heart made of gold. Vivi will need all the extra assistance she can get. She’s been continuously surrounded by so much love and support from her family, friends and colleagues during the recovery from her surgeries.
Although Viviannas surgeries and recovery have been going so well, she will not be able to eat solid foods for sometime and is on a strict liquids. Only diet on behalf of. Our families were asking for any donation/supplies to assist Vivi in her financial/medical expenses as well as any daily necessities, she will need to help aid in her recovery from home. Vivianna does have a shared apartment as stated above, as well as her for baby (Ari), Bills/necessities, and now a totaled out damaged vehicle (from the incident) that she still hast to continue to pay off. we as well will be hosting fundraisers and will keep our community updated with the details.
Everything from all the love, prayers and support are truly appreciated and thank you for any contribution!
