<div><strong> Vivian Grace was born on 7/24/24 and continues to recover from her dramatic entry into the outside world. </strong>Mom (Sylvia) was receiving life saving treatments for a few days and has recovered. Vivian is continuing her month + stay in intensive care at Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware. She has had multiple seizures, apneic, and other events (not the kind with cake and ice cream). Her original seizures shortly after birth seem to be due to her underdeveloped pituitary gland and potential thyroid issues. These initial seizures, when she was taken in to Reading Hospital, caused significant damage to other parts of her brain, which we have no way of knowing the long term outcomes of at this time. <strong>As our family and the doctors are figuring out what all this means for Vivian's life to thrive, many have asked for a way to give.</strong> Here is one way. <strong>The support we have put here is to cover some initial bills for her care and for Ben to be bedside to talk with doctors and support the family as a whole during this time. </strong>Funds will be put in a new bank account for Vivian's care and any funds raised above the goal will later go into a specific fund for supporting Vivian's lifelong care. We are informed she will need daily lifelong treatment for her current diagnosed conditions.
