<div>Hi, I’m Vivian, and I’ve been a flight attendant for Spirit Airlines for the past five years. On May 2, Spirit decided to cease operations without warning, and I was permanently laid off along with many of my fellow crew members. We showed up for work until the very last day, not knowing May 2 it would be our last. Suddenly, I found myself without a job, benefits to get back home , or health insurance, and now I’m left scrambling to pick up the pieces and start over.

<div>Even though I’m actively searching for new employment, today’s job market is tough. We were supposed to get paid on May 15 and unfortunately we did not. I created this GoFundMe to ask for some assistance while I’m between jobs, so I can stay afloat and cover my essential expenses like rent, food, and other bills. Life is lifing right now, but I’m staying positive as I transition into my next chapter, whatever that may be.
