<div>Hello, my name is Sandy Nguyen, Vince’s aunt, and I am organizing this fundraiser in loving memory of my sweet nephew, Vince Kellerman (baptismal name Francis).

<div>On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, while playing near the Line Creek Trail in Kansas City’s Northland, a tree suddenly fell on Vince during a tragic incident. This left him critically injured. Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team at Children’s Mercy Hospital and the overwhelming prayers and support from family, friends, and our community, Vince peacefully went home to God on Saturday, May 30, 2026. He was only 5 years old.

<div>From the beginning, Vince’s parents, Kathy and James, have given him the most unconditional love and raised him to enjoy exploring the world around him. Vince also has a younger brother, Silas, and as a family they made every day an adventure through outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. Vince constantly radiated the love his parents poured into him through his compassion for others.

<div>Vince had recently turned 5 and was excitedly preparing to start Kindergarten at Hopewell Elementary in the Park Hill School District, Kansas City, MO and Sunday School at the Church of the Holy Martyrs (4101 E 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137) this fall. Just two weeks before the incident, he got to meet his future classmates and happily told them about playing outside after school. He never met a stranger — only friends he had not yet gotten to know. Despite his young age, Vince had a character beyond his years: smart, kind, loving, and truly magnetic. His bright smile and affectionate hugs lit up every room he entered.

<div>Vince’s sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled. The days ahead will be incredibly difficult as James, Kathy, and Silas navigate this profound grief while facing significant funeral and memorial expenses. Any support, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden so they can focus on honoring Vince’s memory and supporting one another through this painful time.

<div>Vào ngày Thứ Tư, 27 tháng 5 năm 2026, trong lúc đang chơi gần Đường mòn Line Creek ở khu Northland, Kansas City, một cái cây bất ngờ đổ xuống đè lên cháu Vince trong một sự cố bi thảm. Cháu bị thương rất nặng. Dù đã nhận được sự chăm sóc tận tình từ đội ngũ y bác sĩ tại Bệnh viện Nhi đồng Mercy cùng vô số lời cầu nguyện từ gia đình, bạn bè và cộng đồng, Vince đã bình an về với Chúa vào ngày Thứ Bảy, 30 tháng 5 năm 2026. Cháu mới chỉ lên 5 tuổi.

<div>Từ khi sinh ra, cha mẹ của Vince là Kathy và James đã dành cho cháu tất cả tình yêu thương vô điều kiện và nuôi dạy cháu biết yêu thích khám phá thế giới xung quanh. Vince có một em trai là Silas, và cả gia đình thường cùng nhau tạo nên những ngày tháng vui vẻ qua các hoạt động ngoài trời, du lịch và sum vầy bên người thân. Vince luôn lan tỏa tình yêu mà cha mẹ dành cho cháu qua sự đồng cảm và yêu thương mọi người xung quanh.

<div>Vince vừa tròn 5 tuổi và đang háo hức chuẩn bị vào lớp Kindergarten tại Hopewell Elementary thuộc Học Khu Park Hill, Kansas City, MO cùng với Trường Chúa Nhật tại Nhà thờ Các Thánh Tử Đạo (Church of the Holy Martyrs - 4101 E 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137) vào mùa thu này. Chỉ hai tuần trước sự cố, cháu đã được gặp các bạn học tương lai và vui vẻ kể với các bạn về việc sẽ chơi ngoài trời sau giờ học. Vince chưa bao giờ coi ai là người lạ — chỉ là những người bạn mà cháu chưa kịp làm quen. Dù còn rất nhỏ, Vince đã có một tính cách vượt trội so với tuổi: thông minh, tốt bụng, yêu thương và cực kỳ cuốn hút. Nụ cười rạng rỡ cùng những cái ôm ấm áp của cháu đã thắp sáng mọi nơi cháu đến.

Những ngày tới sẽ vô cùng khó khăn khi James, Kathy và Silas phải đối mặt với nỗi đau mất mát sâu sắc này, đồng thời lo chi phí tang lễ và tưởng niệm. Bất kỳ sự hỗ trợ nào, dù nhỏ, cũng sẽ giúp gia đình giảm bớt gánh nặng tài chính để họ có thể tập trung tưởng nhớ Vince và che chở cho nhau trong giai đoạn đau buồn này.
