Support Veterans Through PGA HOPE Golf Marathon
Tax deductible
We are a team of PGA HOPE Veterans along with one of our Coaches, John Cassidy from the Home Course, who have been chosen to join the PNW Section 100 Holes of Golf Marathon, this in itself is an honor, we are raising funds to help support the PNW PGA HOPE program. The funds raised will help us hold clinics within the Section that did not receive funding from the national budget.
We are excited as the Goldendale HS Timberwolves Golf Team have joined with the PGA HOPE Veterans and are going to play 100 holes of golf to help give back to military veterans, active duty, and to their family members who have or are serving in the military. Thank you Amy Wilson and the Timberwolves for your support.
PGA HOPE uses golf as a form of therapy for Veterans and Active Duty Military. The game of golf is a low impact, outdoor sport that anyone can play. Veterans with disabilities are a large portion of our HOPE population, they are able to get outside, hang out with fellow military veterans and play a sport that helps them focus on hitting that little white ball from tee box to green and not think about what has happened to them to become disabled.
Every $250 our team raises, will help change the life of 1 veteran. The money raised helps us keep the PGA HOPE program free to the veteran and active duty military members. There are many programs within the PGA of America portfolio, however PGA HOPE is the only program that can save a life. Please consider donating to our cause, we thank you for any and all donation amounts.
