<div>Last year, I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia at 24. Since then, my world has completely changed. I take a daily pill called Iclusig (it’s a tyrosine kinase inhibitor) to keep the cancer under control, but the side effects make holding a steady job difficult. Right now, I live with my mom (who’s also a cancer warrior!) and my siblings, as we all navigate this new normal together.

<div>My mom has been my rock, but she’s also dealing with her own battles, including fibromyalgia, which makes it tough for her to drive or run errands. Between doctor’s appointments, treatments, and just getting groceries, transportation is one of our biggest challenges. Some extra help with car repairs and occasional Lyft rides would take so much pressure off her and our family.

<div>One of the things that’s kept me grounded is sharing my life on TikTok. I’ve been posting videos of my skincare routines, cooking, making coffee, and just trying to focus on little joys. Connecting with people online has been incredible; it’s given me a safe space, and the support from my community means so much more than you know. I’m even planning giveaways soon, with iced coffee mugs, hot coffee mugs, tea, fuzzy robes, and other self-care goodies, because we all deserve a little comfort.
