<div>My name is Liza. I have known Vaun Mayes since 2016 when I started working with him for his Program The Parks initiative. He is one of the most selfless, giving people I have met. He has worked tirelessly to help youth and their families in Milwaukee, starting with his Program The Parks initiative in 2016. He then expanded his help to Community Taskforce MKE, which focuses on violence prevention and he has also coordinated numerous national disaster relief efforts.

<div>Now Vaun needs our help. He was in a hit and run on Fond du Lac on July 31st, tearing the whole door off his car. His stove also exploded, causing a fire in his home on the night of July 6th. Vaun was not at home when the fire happened. Fortunately, his wife was home and was able to gather their children and get out of the home safely.

<div>Vaun’s family is in need of funds for their vehicle, hotel stay, basic necessities, and rent and deposit for their new home.
