Support Vanesa's Mission to Empower Thai Children

Hello!

Super excited to announce that I have been given the opportunity to return to Thailand and partner with City Church Chicago & Empower International for their November 2024 short mission trip.

Empower International is a Christian organization that aids in child trafficking prevention/ rescue, humanitarian relief, church and bible school planting, and more. They have several orphanages and safe homes for children who were once victims of sex trafficking or at risk of being trafficked. Many of these children that live there have to see daily impacts of injustice and abuse. One of the main missions is to develop Christian leaders in their communities to help establish new, safe, and healthy beginnings for future generations in Thailand, Pakistan, and Myanmar.

Last year in November of 2023 one of my greatest dreams came to life!

I went on my first mission trip to Thailand and easy to say that the trajectory of my life was forever changed. God truly redeemed my story.

I’m feeling really blessed to be part of such a beautiful movement where I get to be of service to the children and people of Thailand. To be able to become part of something greater than just myself fills my heart with so much gratitude, purpose, and trust in how god continues to move in my life.

I am looking forward to everything God has in store for the team and myself heading out there this year. I am also excited to learn and experience more to further develop as a leader, a light, and continue to be of service in this world.
