Community Bookstore Devastation to Elevation

From devastation to elevation, the mission continues. We saved our original store; We opened a new store; We started our podcast Malik's Bookshelf; We launched Malik's bookmobile to host book fairs at schools, but the mission continues. Our community is underserved, and Malik Books is committed to putting books in the hands of our children and youth. Children are 100% of our future. Our new nonprofit is Books not bullets, Inc.. Uses books to stop violence because books are life-changing. Changing our community with one book at a time.

Malik Books is located in the historic Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall and has served an underserved area of Los Angeles for over 30 years.
