<div>Hi, my name is Patricia Resendez, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my son, Ulysses Resendez. On October 29th, 2024, our world turned upside down when Ulysses was admitted to South Texas Health System McAllen after experiencing dizziness, double vision, headaches, and loss of vision in his left eye. After a series of tests, including CT scans and MRIs, the doctors delivered a devastating diagnosis: a glioma—a tumor located on his brainstem and cerebellum.

<div>Since that moment, our family has been in a constant battle. Ulysses has been under the care of oncologists and neurologists in Houston. Despite the incredible support we’ve received from our community, the journey has only become more difficult as we face new challenges.

</div>

<div>Since November 1st of this year, Ulysses has been in and out of the hospital due to frequent seizures, and his symptoms continue to worsen. He has been under the care of a neurosurgeon in Houston, who recently performed a biopsy. We are still waiting on results to understand how aggressive the tumor has become. Meanwhile, recent MRIs and tests have shown that the tumor is growing, and doctors are seeing a significant decline in his health.

<div>As we continue to fight for his well-being, Ulysses now requires additional medical equipment and constant care at home, placing a significant strain on our family’s financial resources.

</div>

<div>We are humbly asking for support to cover the increasing medical expenses and to provide the necessary care for Ulysses at home. No contribution is too small—every bit of help will bring us closer to the resources Ulysses needs to continue fighting with strength and dignity.
