Good morning,

I am sharing this invitation with friends and family only. On my recent visit to Guyana, I went to see the home I lived in as a child, which is now Uitvlugt Nursery School.

Since that time, I have been in communication with Cindy Blake, the Head Mistress of the school. My goal is to make an annual Christmas gift to the 68 children who attend the school. The financial gift will support the annual Christmas Social and Christmas Tree Light-Up event. At the event, the staff will distribute Love Baskets to less fortunate children and their families.

I am doing this to honor my mother's legacy and the history of what was the Uitvlugy Girls Club, where many of my friends and family spent memorable hours as children.

Would you join me in making this gift? I hope to raise $1000 for the Uitvlugt Nursery School.

The annual Christmas Social and Christmas Tree Light-Up event is scheduled for December 3.
