The Friday after Thanksgiving, November 23rd ended with a terrible accident for the Credeur family.  Tyler,  an athletic and kind 14 year old boy was sitting by a small outdoor fire with his Grandmother. He and his father had driven up to Arkansas that day from Katy, Texas to visit. A loud explosion was heard. His grandmother looked over to see Tyler and her vehicle engulfed in flames.  Tyler was burned over 85% of his body and was driven by ambulance from Southeast Arkansas to Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas. He is currently in the Burn unit in the ICU. We are praying constantly for him that he is not in pain. Doctors and nurses are working constantly to keep him comfortable and fight potential infection.. They have told Tyler's family that this severity of injury will be at least six months to a year in the hospital.  No 14 year old child should have to endure this. Tyler is  heavily involved in baseball, football, archery, and was even a hall monitor at his school. I know everyone would say this about their family member, but he is the sweetest and most kind boy I have ever met! Always extremely polite and well spoken.  Tyler needs our prayers and support. While we ask for prayers more than anything at this time we recognize as family that there are and will be other needs very soon. Tyler's father Bryan is a single dad. Everything he does is for Tyler. He and Tyler reside in Katy, Texas.  Tyler's family will have to get hotels, food, and other items as they must remain by his side as much as possible until Tyler can come home. Thankfully Tyler has been transferred a bit closer to home.  The Houston area has a fantastic pediatric burn hospital, lShriners.  Tyler was flown from Parkland Memorial in Dallas Monday (11/26) to Shriners and has already undergone his first major surgery. Bryan and other family members will be unable to be at work for the next few weeks at least.  Other expenses like rent and utilities/ongoing expenses are of course in addition to medical expenses for Tyler.  Tyler and Bryan need our assistance.  My husband Anthony is Bryan's cousin. We are dog sitting Tyler's boxer mix, Badger that they dropped off before they continued on to Arkansas Friday morning.  We are organizing this Gofundme as a starting point to support Tyler.  Please consider giving what you can to help this wonderful boy and his father Bryan as they begin such a trying, challenging period in their lives.  And remember... #PrayforTy. God is listening.
