3 weeks ago myself and my older brother Tyler Beauchemin received the worst news imaginable. My brother had been feeling ill for a couple months so he went to the hospital to have some tests and the doctor had told him he had cancer in his colon. He met with a surgeon and scheduled surgery. The day before his surgery he had a cat scan done and about 2 hours later he received the worst phone call imaginable, the surgeon said the cancer has spread to his liver and is stage 4 and because of that, they had to cancel surgery. He has started chemo treatments and will be going for continuous treatment/appointments to boston. Tyler is one of the most kindest and genuine people you will ever meet. He is the hardest worker and strongest person i know who is determined to fight this head-on. He is no longer working and making money as he is getting chemo therapy every 2 weeks. My brother went from being very healthy and living his every-day life to a person who has to now fight for his life. He is living with stage 4 metastatic colorectal cancer.
