It is with a heavy heart that I introduce you to two incredible young women, Tylen McFadden and Tyseana Voorhiest, daughters of the late Tyvonne McFadden, who passed away on January 9, 2025. As you may know, losing a mother is a profound and difficult experience, and Tylen and Tyseana are navigating this great loss with strength and grace.

Tylen, a seventh grader, has already distinguished herself as a dedicated honor roll student, balancing her academic achievements with her passion for cheerleading. Her commitment to both her studies and her extracurricular activities is a testament to her hard work and resilience. Despite the recent family tragedy, Tylen continues to excel and is a source of pride for her teachers, coaches, and peers.

Tyseana, her older sister, is an aspiring professional cheerleader coach and choreographer. With an unwavering commitment to the art of cheerleading, she has worked tirelessly to develop her skills and help others find the same joy in cheerleading that she has experienced. Tyseanna is not only a talented athlete but also a mentor to those around her, and she continues to be an inspiration to both her family and the cheerleading community.

The McFadden family has been through much, and yet Tylen and Tyseana’s perseverance shines through in their dedication to their dreams and to each other. Tyvonne, their mother, was a pillar of strength and love in their lives, and her influence is deeply felt in the paths that her daughters are carving for themselves.

As they move forward without their mother, Tylen and Tyseana are finding strength in each other and in the memories of the love and support their mother provided. They are grateful for the continued support from family, friends, and mentors as they navigate this incredibly challenging time.
