Hello! Our names are Adithi and Taylar, and we are both Year 12 students from a rural school in Victoria, Australia. Recently, we were selected to attend the prestigious London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) in the United Kingdom, which is an incredible opportunity for young science enthusiasts to make connections with leading experts in various scientific fields and meet like minded people. This forum will not only allow us to deepen our passion for science but also inspire our pathway for our future careers in science.

We are reaching out to request financial assistance in making this life-changing experience possible. As students from a rural area, attending such an event is an extraordinary opportunity that would significantly enhance our knowledge and exposure in science. However, the costs associated with attending—ranging from the camp fees, travel and insurance —are unfortunately beyond our current financial means. The camp fees are 3,295 GBP which is approximately $6,600 AUD which doesn't include insurance, airport transfer, optional tours and flight tickets which could be over another $3,000 per person.

Participating in the LIYSF will enable us to attend lectures, workshops, and visit renowned scientific institutions, offering us first-hand experience and insights into ground-breaking research and innovations. The knowledge and connections we will gain are invaluable, not only for our academic growth but also for the contribution we hope to make in the scientific community in the future.

This opportunity is a dream come true for us, but without financial support, we may be unable to attend.
