Nicole and Dino here- many of you know that our family has been blessed to welcome the sweetest au pair into our home this year, Irem. She is a part of our family. Now it is our turn to help her family and friends who are suffering in her home country of Turkey from a series of massive earthquakes. Irem has watched helplessly from the other side of the world. Another earthquake this week delivered an additional devastating blow, just two weeks after the initial event.

The death toll has passed 50,000 and continues to rise across Turkey and Syria.

Over 15 million were impacted by this earthquake. Hundreds of thousands are badly injured, millions more are displaced without a home or shelter in the cold.  It is $300 to purchase just one tent.

Irem is from the most impacted area. We are fundraising to provide direct support to her close family and friends and in particular, a young boy who is now orphaned.
