The time is FINALLY here! Tristan is a few days away from the day he's waited so many years for! This best friend of mine is someone who works full-time, goes to school full-time, works so hard to constantly make his future brighter... and still is the most selfless person I know. He's always the first to do everything he can to help everyone he can, and I would like to try to give back to him in a way that would mean so much! Here's a few words from the man himself:

Hi, my name is T and I’m reaching out during a really important and vulnerable time in my life.

I’m preparing to have top surgery—a life-changing step in my transition that brings me closer to finally feeling at home in my own body. This journey is deeply personal, and while I’m filled with hope and relief about this next chapter, I’m also facing the very real fear of falling behind while I recover.

I’ll be out of work for about a month, and as someone who lives alone and is the sole provider for myself, that means rent, bills, and basic living expenses will quickly pile up. I’ve watched so many of my friends in this community receive the support they needed to rest, heal, and come back stronger—and I’m hoping for that same grace.
