Sign up for the AIJA 2021 World Tour Challenge to support human rights and justice from 28 June to 4 July 2021.

AIJA is celebrating its 59th anniversary by inviting participants worldwide to run, cycle or walk for a cause. This year, we are committing towards Human Rights and Innovation and raising money for TRIAL International. It isa non-governmental organisation fighting impunity for international crimes and supporting victims in their quest for justice. Know more below.

 

What is the AIJA World Tour Challenge 2021?

1- Run | Cycle | Walk: Indoors on a treadmill/spin bike/even backyard OR anywhere outdoors.

2- Together, complete at least 59 km with your national team.

3- Seven-Day-Challenge: Starts on 28 June and ends on 4 July 2021, 23:59 CEST

 

Here are some simple steps to participate:

1- FREE SIGN UP: Register for free before 25 June and in the following days receive a welcome email confirming your place and national team.

2- WHATSAPP GROUP: You will soon be invited to your team’s WhatsApp group to meet other participants and plan your fundraising/sporting activity.

3- TRACK YOUR ACTIVITY: Use track app such as Strava, RunKeeper, Runtastic, etc. Submit your time/distance along with photographs, selfies and videos capturing moments from your activity in your team’s WhatsApp group.

4- WEAR TO REPRESENT: Anything that represents your support for the cause or AIJA merchants

5- SHARE: Spread the word on social media and encourage others to sign up and/or donate. Use the following suggestive hashtags: #weareaija, #aijaworldtour2021, #innovate4humanrights #59kmchallenge

6- SUPPORT-DONATE: Raise funds/donate to TRIAL International. We suggest a minimum donation of €5, however, you are free to give any amount that you are comfortable with. Even if you are not participating in the challenge, you can support the cause by making a valuable donation and help TRIAL International to work towards justice.
