Hey y'all! My name is Trenton Matlack and I am a Junior at ETBU. I have recently felt the Lord's call on my life to missions around the world and I have been given the opportunity to begin this journey by going to Seattle with my local BSM.

The trip is in May and is with the Northwest Collegiate Ministries. While there, we will be doing campus outreach on Seattle colleges. Leading the Mobberly Marshall College ministry this semester has shown me the joys of college ministry and reaffirmed my calling to Christ's Kingdom through vocational ministry. To be able to do both, reaching the nations while doing college ministry, is a true opportunity and is exciting to say the very least. While this blessing is an amazing opportunity, I am in need of some help from y'all! To be honest, I debated going on this trip heavily and it weighed on my heart for quite some time due to a lack of finances. In college, God has given me numerous ministry opportunities. This includes leading Mobberly Marshall College ministry, being a BSM small group leader, serving in children's church weekly, and being an RA for my dorm hall, all while being a full-time student. I say none of this to be boastful or prideful, but only to express my busy schedule. I have absolutely no means of paying for this trip outside of y'all, so anything and everything helps!

That being said, I know many of you may not be able to give financially, so if not, don't worry. There is still a major way you can be a part of the work God is doing in my life! Prayer is the powerful tool God gives us to intercede with the Creator, Keeper, and Savior of creation. Prayer is not getting ready for the work of Christ; rather, it is the very work itself. If you cannot give, please pray for 3 things:

1) God to move through us

2) Humility and boldness to share the gospel with students

3) Open hearts and minds to those we share with.
