♡ Helping Travis stay in Miami so he can focus on beating bone cancer, not the miles between treatments. 
 
Travis has a very rare translocation entity of a high grade, ewing-like sarcoma. A sarcoma is a rare type of malignant (cancerous) tumor that develops in bone and connective tissue, such as fat, muscle, blood vessels, nerves and the tissue that surrounds bones and joints. This particular fusion is very rare compared to the more common fusions of a ewing sarcoma, and there aren't very many cases with this particular fusion, less than 1% of the population. 
 
Travis was flown in from Puerto Rico to receive treatment and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. But, the closest place he has to live is all the way in Orlando. The constant travel between cities and hotels has been exhausting, both physically and emotionally, especially while he’s fighting something so difficult.

We’re raising funds to help him stay closer to his treatment center in Miami so he can focus fully on healing. The donations will go toward: 
 
- A temporary place to stay in Miami during his treatment. 
 
- Medical appointments, scans, and hospital visits. 
 
- Transportation and basic living costs while he’s there.

♡ Ayuda a Travis a quedarse en Miami para que pueda enfocarse en vencer el cáncer de hueso, y no en tener que estar viajando entre tratamientos. 
 
Travis tiene una entidad de translocación bien rara y agresiva, como un sarcoma tipo Ewing. Un sarcoma es un tipo raro de tumor maligno (canceroso) que se desarrolla en los huesos y tejidos conectivos, como la grasa, los músculos, los vasos sanguíneos, los nervios y el tejido que rodea los huesos y las articulaciones. Esta fusión en particular es bien rara comparada con las fusiones más comunes de un sarcoma de Ewing, y no hay muchos casos con esta fusión específica, menos del 1% de la población
 
A Travis lo trasladaron desde Puerto Rico para recibir tratamiento y ahora mismo está en quimioterapia. Pero el sitio más cercano donde puede quedarse está en Orlando. Estar viajando constantemente entre ciudades y quedándose en hoteles ha sido bien fuerte, tanto física como emocionalmente, especialmente mientras lucha contra algo tan duro.

Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudarlo a quedarse más cerca de su centro de tratamiento en Miami y que pueda concentrarse de lleno en su recuperación. Las donaciones se usarán para: 
 
- Un lugar temporal donde quedarse en Miami mientras recibe tratamiento. 
 
- Citas médicas, estudios y visitas al hospital. 
 
- Transporte y gastos básicos mientras esté allá.
