SUPPORT TRANS PERFORMERS - cost of theater rental

The Portland Trans Voices Cabaret is fundraising to cover the theater rental cost for our show!

The Trans Voices Cabaret (TVC) is a series of cabarets featuring an entirely trans cast and crew. It started in New York and has since made its way to Chicago, London, Los Angeles, and now Portland! As trans performers are often denied roles in musical theater spaces, the TVC provides the much-needed opportunity for gender affirming musical theater performance.

The Portland TVC is focusing specifically on building a creative trans community that is affirming, fun, and puts on a damn good show!

The show will take place on Sun Nov 20, 2022 at 7pm at Curious Comedy Theater in NE Portland.

We are fundraising to reimburse the out-of-pocket expense for the cost of the theater rental. Otherwise, this cost will have to be taken out of ticket sales. As all ticket sale profits are being used to compensate the cast and crew, your donation will directly financially support trans performers and creatives! Because of this, even if we exceed our goal, any funds donated will only increase the amount our cast and crew are compensated! Isn't that amazing!!
