<div>Hello, To all of my friends that know me and to those that may recognize me in the photo provided. My name is Tracy Hawkins. My closest friends refer to me as 'HAWK'. I have been out of work for 9 months. I was placed on temporary leave from my job, due to health concerns. Last April, 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer.

<div>I recently underwent the first stage of chemo therapy. I lost a great number of white blood cells and my blood stream was infected. I got admitted to GBMC Hospital, in Towson, MD for 8 days. My immune system was restored with antibiotics &amp; fluids. I was given a PicLine to do my own infusions at my temporary residence, here in Baltimore County, to continue in treating the infection in my bloodstream.

<div>I will undergo five additional sessions of chemo therapy, in an effort to get the cancer under control. The infection was found in the port that you all can kind of see partially, in the profile photo to this campaign. In March of 2024, I had a mass on my heart that caused a severe circulation issue on the left side of my body. It made my left leg swell from under my knee to the top of my ankle. My shoulder was pretty much inoperable as well, due to the mass that covered one of the main arteries on the left side of my heart.

<div>While under the care of Dr. Melissa Mendes at Chesapeake Urology, I was prescribed Ogovyx Relugolix and Nubeqa or Darolutamide. When my insurance ended due to being placed on temporary leave. I wasn't able to get the prescribed medication, until I was able to acquire MedicAid in April 2025.

<div>Now that I was able to resume my medication, my PSA levels went from 12,000 to 32, by the grace of GOD. The appropriate level of PSA for men, is between 1 and 4. Prayerfully, I will continue to get better as well as be able to gain employment.

<div>Due to my medical condition, I have acquired increased debt obligations over the time I have been unemployed. I am requesting help from people who understand my circumstance. And to each possible donation that is sent to my campaign, they are greatly and most humbly appreciated. I am, again, requesting donations to support this GoFundMe Campaign, while I continue in undergoing various treatments / procedures and currently not working.
