<div><strong>Help Support Tony Serra - Legendary Civil Rights Attorney</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For over 60 years, Tony Serra has stood as a fierce defender of justice and champion for the voiceless — one of the most celebrated criminal defense and civil rights attorneys of our time. With a brilliant mind, a fearless heart, and an unwavering commitment to the underdog, Tony has dedicated his life to protecting the lives and liberties of others.
</div>
<div>He has defended activists, political prisoners, the wrongly accused, and the marginalized — often for free or for a token fee. He took a vow of poverty long ago, rejecting material wealth in order to live a life of principle, purpose, and protest. While others profited, Tony poured his energy into people, not possessions.
</div>
<div>Now, after a lifetime of giving, and a recent bout of serious medical setbacks, Tony needs our help.
</div>
<div>At 90 years old, Tony has no pension, no savings, no retirement plan, no social security, and no steady income. The man who once stood in courtrooms across the country, eloquently fighting for justice, is now facing serious financial hardship.
</div>
<div>This is our chance to give back to a man who has given everything.
</div>
<div>If you’ve admired Tony’s work, if your life or your values have been touched by his words or his example, or if you believe in honoring those who spend their lives fighting for what’s right — please consider contributing to this fund. Every dollar will go directly to supporting Tony Serra’s living needs as he navigates this chapter of his life with the same dignity he has always shown others.
</div>
<div>Let’s show Tony that the world hasn’t forgotten the sacrifices he made for justice. Let’s help him live with the peace, security, and care he deserves.

<div><strong>A Few of Tony's Notable Cases:</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Black Panther Party &amp; Civil Rights Activists</strong> – He defended Huey Newton and others in landmark political trials.
</div>
<div><strong>Bear Lincoln Trial</strong> – Tony defended Native American Bear Lincoln in a high-profile murder trial involving the death of a sheriff’s deputy. The case drew national attention and highlighted long-standing tensions between law enforcement and Indigenous communities. Bear Lincoln was acquitted of all major charges.
</div>
<div><strong>Symbionese Liberation Army ("Chimera" Trial)</strong> – Tony stood up for members of the SLA, challenging government overreach and public condemnation.
</div>
<div><strong>Ellie Nesler</strong> – He represented the mother who shot her son’s alleged molester in court — a case that stirred national debate.
</div>
<div><strong>Rick Tabish (Ted Binion case) </strong>– Tony won a high-profile acquittal in this sensational murder re-trial.
</div>
<div><strong>Greg Anderson (BALCO steroid case)</strong> – He defended Barry Bonds’ trainer in a case that shook the sports world.
</div>
<div><strong>Dozens of protestors, environmental activists, and political prisoners</strong> — always taking the hard cases, often pro bono.
</div>
<div><strong>Also noteworthy:</strong> Tony’s courtroom eloquence and moral conviction inspired the movie <em>True Believer</em>, and his life was portrayed by actor James Woods. (He didn’t get a penny.)
