My name is Bonie Joseph, and I am reaching out on behalf of my dear nephew, Tony Mitchel. Tony’s life changed suddenly while working in Tortola, BVI. What began as a routine surgery turned into a nightmare. Days later, he returned to the hospital in pain, was given a shot, and sent home. Soon after, he was rushed back, unable to walk or move his legs. Doctors revealed he had suffered a minor stroke and, even more devastating, was diagnosed with cancer in his blood. Within weeks, Tony went from being independent and hardworking to needing intense medical attention. He has since been airlifted to St. Lucia, where he now requires round-the-clock care. Sadly, the nurses and hospital staff are unable to provide the constant support he needs, so we must seek paid help for his daily care as well as surgery to improve his mobility and sensation.
This has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking time for our family. We are asking friends, family, and kindhearted strangers to please help us ease the heavy financial burden of Tony’s care, treatment, and recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward giving him the chance to fight for his health and dignity. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than words can ever say.
