What started off as a normal walk, ended with Toby in a fight for his life.
... When two unleashed and unsupervised pit bulls viscously attacked him, causing loss of 50% of his left ear, severe skin loss on on his back, and multiple punctures on his left leg.
Toby is now fighting for his life.
We can all agree that no animal deserves the excruciating pain that Toby is in, but if you know Toby, you’d know that there is no less deserving dog.
He’s a ten year old Cockerspaniel/Poodle mix that loves his family, other animals, and playing in the yard with his favorite toy.
Because of the severity of Toby’s injuries, he was rushed from the Martha’s Vineyard Vet, to the Cape Cod Animal hospital.
He will be under their care for at least 2-3 weeks as he recovers from his injuries.
Although this means that he is receiving better medical care, his family has to spend time off island, away from work, paying for hotels and boat tickets.
Please help us raise money to help pay for his medical expenses (in the first 24 hours, they are already in the thousands of dollars) as well as his families expenses to visit Toby in the hospital.
