<div>Dear Family and Friends,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With heavy hearts, we share that our dear <strong>Toan Nguyen has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML)</strong>. This unexpected news has turned his and Christine’s world upside down, but if there’s one thing we all know about Toan—it’s that he is a fighter.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Toan begins his first round of chemotherapy on February 24, 2025, and will be placed on the bone marrow transplant list. He will continue treatment until a donor match is found. Thankfully, his insurance has approved him to receive advanced care at City of Hope, offering the best possible treatment for his recovery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While Toan has Medicaid, we are currently uncertain about the full extent of coverage, especially concerning the bone marrow transplant. We have an appointment with the bone marrow specialist to clarify what expenses will be covered and identify any potential out-of-pocket costs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In the meantime, the financial burden of City of Hope’s advanced medical care and daily living expenses is overwhelming. <strong>With the average cost of the initial treatment plan exceeding $200,000, we are aiming to reach our donation goal to help alleviate this financial strain.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We’re asking for your support to help cover:

</div>

<div>• Medical expenses: hospital stays, treatments, medications

</div>

<div>• Living costs: while Toan is unable to work

</div>

<div>• Additional support: for Toan and Christine during this challenging journey

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean the world to us. If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may want to help. Every bit of support—whether through a donation or words of encouragement—gives Toan the strength to keep fighting.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s come together and show Toan he is not alone. With love and support, we can help ease some of the burden so he can focus on what truly matters—getting better.
