With a heavy heart, I'd like to tell you a story. A story of a woman with whom her entire family and close friends were immensely proud.
Our beloved, Auntie Jovie passed away very suddenly and completely unexpectedly from a heart attack three days ago. She was only 60 years young! She was an incredibly good person who had nothing but blitzing love and unmoving care in her heart for her family and those she loved.
She lost her husband early and was left to care on her own for her three children. She raised and support her kids with what little she made as an Airport Intelligent in Manila. While she successfully provided and made end meets for her children over the years, an opportunity came which lead her to moved to the US. Her decision to leave her family temporarily was because she wanted to give her kids and now grandchildren a better life. Her most recent job was a caregiver to teens with disabilities.
Because two of her children and some of her grandchildren are in the Philippines, we would like to send her remain home. Her daughter whom she was living here in the US cannot afford the cost of her funeral as she is a single mother of three as well.
I am asking for your support on her family’s behalf so that Jovie’s immediate family can say their goodbyes and support each other together as they suffer the loss of a person who was the cornerstone of their family--the most reliable and selfless person to everyone around her.
The cost of flights and funeral arrangements are extremely expensive on this short of notice. We, their extended family want to ease the financial burden that comes with losing someone so suddenly. This fund will help to take care of the cost of her funeral and her 6 grandchildren (whom she would move mountains for) and perhaps help establish a small nest egg for each of them for their future. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Our family feels your warm wishes and condolences this holiday season, and extends our own love and warmth to you. Although broken, we thank you with all of our hearts.
