I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dad and stepmom, who are currently facing the devastating possibility of losing their home.

Like so many families, they’ve been hit with unexpected financial hardship. Between job changes, rising expenses, and circumstances outside of their control, they’ve fallen behind on their mortgage. Despite doing everything they can to catch up — working extra hours, cutting expenses, and trying to negotiate with their lender — they are now in serious jeopardy of foreclosure.

This house isn’t just a building. It’s their safe place. It’s where holidays are celebrated, where family gathers, where memories have been made for years. The thought of them losing it is heartbreaking.

My dad has always been the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. He’s helped friends, family, and neighbors whenever they needed it. Now, I’m hoping we can show up for him.

We are trying to raise $13,000 to cover past-due mortgage payments and fees so they can stop the foreclosure process and stabilize financially. Every dollar will go directly toward saving their home.
