<div>Hi, and thank you for reading. Your support and care mean more than I can easily put into words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am currently seeking short-term support for basic necessities as I navigate a very difficult transition period. This fundraiser is to help me get through the next 2-4 weeks with food, transportation, medications, and essential documentation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Fundraising Goal: $250-$700 (4-Week Support)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This goal will help cover:
</div>
<div>•	Groceries and other necessities (4 weeks) – $150
</div>
<div>To supplement food bank support with basic, nutritious staples.
</div>
<div>•	Transportation (PRESTO) – $40
</div>
<div>For medical appointments, food bank access, and essential errands.
</div>
<div>•	Replacement Photo ID – $35.75
</div>
<div>Required for benefits, services, and medical care.
</div>
<div>•	Essential Medications – ~$40
</div>
<div>Prescribed medications needed to maintain my health.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this time, bill payments are not my priority. Though missed payments will bring my bank into the negative, and my payments will be in arrears. My focus is on meeting my basic needs and getting through the holidays with as much stability and dignity as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been on medical leave since May and have been navigating housing instability, eviction-related stress, and the loss of my stepfather and long-standing family traditions. I live with Borderline Personality Disorder, CPTSD, and a major adjustment disorder, and managing these challenges alongside housing instability and limited supports has been extremely difficult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have recently secured stable housing with my stepbrother, stepsister, and their roommate, and I am actively working on recovery through therapy and outpatient psychiatry.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My medical EI benefits ended unexpectedly, and although I have applied for Ontario Works and ODSP, I have not yet received a response. (A likely 2-4 Week wait. The EI payment I believed was coming next week would have covered Christmas dinner, which is no longer possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Beginning in January, I will also be receiving additional support through CMHA for mental health care, housing stability, and debt support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution—no matter the size—or simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more than I can express. Thank you for helping me meet my most basic needs and get through this season with hope.
