<div>My name is MiKayla Lee. On Friday, August 29, on top of an already difficult year (for everyone) my mom, Tina Williamson endured a devastating and completely unexpected accident that has left her injured, overwhelmed, and needing critical medical support for the foreseeable future.

<div>She had already been out of work recovering from a prior work-related injury, doing everything she could to stay afloat and remain hopeful. But life took another cruel turn. She was involved in a freak accident as a crow bar flew through the windshield and struck her in the face resulting in several injuries. A 1-2 inch laceration under her left eye, a 2-3 inch gash from the side of her left nostril down through her lip and has what are called Le Fort fractures or a mid-facial break. Essentially the bones in the middle of her face are broken and nose is broken on both sides. It knocked out her front 4 top teeth and the tips off the bottom front 4. Now requiring emergency care, multiple reconstructive surgeries, and ongoing treatment.

<div>The hardest part? Tina currently has no medical insurance.

<div>That means every hospital visit, procedure, scan, medication, and follow-up appointment comes entirely out of pocket — and that’s on top of her daily living expenses.
