Hello! My name is Amy, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Last year, I discovered some tiny kittens in my shed whose eyes hadn’t even opened yet. It broke my heart to think about the struggles they would face if left to endure a feral life filled with disease, hunger, and abuse, like so many cats in my neighborhood. I knew I had to help, so I took them in, bottle-fed them, and quickly fell in love. The thought of adopting them out was simply unbearable.
Caring for these little ones opened my eyes to the plight of cats that are often overlooked and unfairly judged as nuisances. As I reached out to find low-cost spay and neuter clinics, I was devastated to see the lack of resources available to help these vulnerable animals. Each call I made revealed troubling news—clinics that had shut down due to insufficient funding or were booked for an unspecified amount of time. Even the low-cost services were surprisingly expensive, with some spay or neuter procedures costing upwards of $1,200.
Then, by an incredible stroke of luck, I met a remarkable woman named Tina Waser. Tina is truly a hero in our community, pouring her heart and soul into caring for these animals. She often puts her own needs aside to fight for their well-being. Alongside a loyal group of volunteers, she works tirelessly to trap, transport, and foster cats, find loving adopters for those who are friendly, and advocate for awareness about our frustratingly high feral cat population. Despite her full-time job, Tina manages to juggle all of this, often at great personal expense. She spends her own money on essential supplies—traps, food, litter, blankets, and more—knowing that it’s for a cause that is much bigger than herself.
I felt compelled to support Tina and share the weight of her incredible work. I am striving to alleviate some of the burdens she faces and find ways to raise funds to lessen the financial strain. This is not just Tina’s fight; it’s a shared responsibility that belongs to all of us. These cats are part of our community, whether we acknowledge them or not. Together, we can make a meaningful difference, ensuring that these animals receive the care and compassion they desperately need.
I am asking for donations to help Tina Waser give these sweet animals a better life. Anything you can contribute, no matter how small, is a blessing. Thank you so much for your time and any charitable blessings you can provide. Together, we can fight the good fight!
