<div>Our friend Tina Betters of Antonio's Pizzeria has cancer with complications. It is treatable but will require significant surgical reconstruction and healing time. Additional surgeries and radiation may be required and she has a hereditary gene mutation that increases her chances of recurrence.

<div>After a frustrating series of doctor consultations she finally has a team that can remove the cancer and rebuild her body in a way that will get her back to work as quickly as possible with the best chance of getting her to remission.

<div>Though they have coverage, like any medical insurance it only covers a percentage of hospital expenses, surgery, anesthesia, drugs, physical therapy, and rehabilitation. It also does not cover child care, transportation, co-pays, and help during recovery. Expenses will mount quickly.

<div>Tina's husband is handling the pizzeria in addition to his regular job while she spends the next 4 to 5 weeks getting prepared for surgery. She has employees to help but she will be out of work for some time.

<div>Additionally Tina and her family face having to move residence to accommodate a school district requirement that they live within a changed boundary, or make a stressful change of schools for their young children. This situation has added additional challenges for Tina and her children and financial demands for the family.

<div>Tina is having surgery on April 14. She will need to rest and recover. Please help us let her do so without worry.
