<div>AlHamdu Lillaah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We lack the finances to provide for Timbuktu Seminary to continue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And this is one of our major challenges.
</div>
<div>Most people do not regularly donate to the promotion of islaamic knowledge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While at the same time, most people recognize that we need an islaamic university on the sunnah, focusing on our issues.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let us first understand the FiQh of donating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You are NOT donating to have access to a Shaykh.
</div>
<div>It is your right to have access to a Shaykh.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You should donate to facilitate that function in your society.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is FarDul Kifaayah to establish Islaamic Education- Institutions.
</div>
<div>Meaning, it is an obligation on all of us to make sure there are enough Shuyookh available to study the deen in order to answer our questions and provide us with solutions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These Shuyookh MUST be from the society that they are educating and advising.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why?
</div>
<div>Because the first condition for answering a question is being able to fully picture what the person is asking about. Being able to understand the context of the issue(s).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This can only be done by people who are fully grounded in the culture, history and political direction of that Nation.
</div>
<div>This is also called Jurisdiction.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Timbuktu is an Islaamic Education Foundation established by Western Muslims in order to solve Western issues.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We teach:
</div>
<div>Arabic
</div>
<div>Quraan
</div>
<div>Islaamic Law
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have weekly (free) Public Classes in which we explain:
</div>
<div>(a) Tafseer of Quraan
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(b) Authentic Hadeeth
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Arabic Program goes from Basic to PHD
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Quraan Program provides certification as:
</div>
<div>(a) Tajweed Specialists
</div>
<div>(b) HaafiDZ of Quraan with isnaad
</div>
<div>(j) Ijaazaat in all TEN Qiraa-aat
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Law program has levels:
</div>
<div>(1) Beginner Level
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>First Grade FiQh
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(2) Adult Competency
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Outlining FiQh
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(3) Classical
</div>
<div>(Ustaadh Level)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>AR-Risaalah in Maaliki FiQh
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(4) The Scholar’s Level.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“The QaaDi Apprentice”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a course in which we train/educate islaamic Judges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also counsel, advise and train women in a weekly women only class.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Those women who want more are added to our Women’s Scholars group which is a:
</div>
<div>Support Group for women only
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A financial Group for women only
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Special Projects for women only
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And preparation for marriage group for women only.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is what you would be donating to establish.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations would buy food for our staff and their families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of the Timbuktu Staff do not have enough money to buy staple food for more than a week at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Help pay their rent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In this regard many of our staff literally live month to month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And pay for the online services needed to better serve our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At present all these services come out of our pockets.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are shy to keep asking you all to donate, donate, donate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You all should also realize that you have to help establish this institution that gives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate and we will be able to do more. Sacrifice with us.
</div>
<div>If we can pay for a Shaykh’s rent, or his monthly food bill, he will be able to explain things that will improve our quality of life.
</div>
<div>If we can pay for some of the services that our administration needs they will be able to make our online experience flow.
</div>
<div>Donate.
