I'm raising funds for my niece's husband, Tim, after a devastating work accident in Bridgeport. Tim was operating an excavator while dismantling an old coal-fired plant when a large turbine fell and severely damaged the cab of the machine he was in. Most of his upper body made it through, but his lower legs and feet were badly injured. 
 
 
 Tim is now facing a left foot amputation, and there may be more procedures ahead depending on how he heals in the coming days. Along with the physical trauma and the uncertainty of his recovery, Tim and Candace are now dealing with time in the hospital, lost income, and mounting medical bills. 
 
 
 Candace is traveling more than 60 miles every day to be by Tim's side. Right now, the family wants to make sure their bills stay current, help cover medical expenses, and support Candace's daily visits while Tim is hospitalized and without a paycheck. Because these needs may continue for some time, recurring donations would provide steady help with ongoing bills, travel costs, and other day-to-day expenses during Tim's recovery.
