Update on Thomas Lightfoot (Tommy)

After a week of pure torture, Tommy now has an appointment December 3rd with the nation’s top neurosurgeon who specializes in trigeminal neuralgia at Standford University. In the last two days, the pain has subsided a bit. I think it’s answered prayer for each of us who are praying. The neurologist even called him on the phone. Please keep praying prayers of gratitude and supplication. Thank you to all those who have donated to the GoFundMe page. The trip to Standford will certainly be expensive but worth it. We appreciate the continued prayer support.

He has lost 50 pounds because of his “mystery” illness. After a trip to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, he has two referrals to hopefully get a definitive diagnosis and treatment that will end his pain. I'm reaching out to ask for your support for Thomas Lightfoot, the husband of my dear friend Pennie. Thomas is facing a new and challenging health crisis with a recent shingles diagnosis on his face, on top of his ongoing "mystery" illness that's left him undiagnosed and in constant pain for over two years. He's lost a significant 46 pounds and is struggling to find answers.

The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville is his best hope for diagnosis and treatment, but the costs are overwhelming. With his current insurance, he's facing a $5,000 upfront fee just to be seen, not to mention travel and accommodation expenses.
