<div>Hello my name is Richard and I am raising funds because my father was detained on July 6 right outside my house. He was the main provider of the household and we need support to help our mother pay for rent and the other living expenses.

<div>At approximately 9:50 AM, 10 unmarked vehicles surrounded our house and violently demanded my father Ricardo, come outside of his house because they had a warrant for his arrest. The 15 masked ICE agents had full on gear and tried to break the gate and pointed their guns at us. I was right by his side recording and felt very scared. The ICE agents kept threatening to use force to come into our home. Out of fear that they would hurt our family my dad decided to comply and turned himself in. My mother is now alone with her three children ages 15, 9 and 8 years old. This has left us completely devastated because it was so sudden. We were told that he will be deported. My dad is not a criminal, he is a hard working and loving father. Right now we need the support to be able to pay for bills meanwhile our father is gone.

<div>Aproximadamente a las 9:50 AM, 10 vehículos particulares rodearon nuestra casa y exigieron violentamente que mi padre Ricardo, saliera de su casa porque tenían una orden de arresto en su contra. Los 15 agentes enmascarados de ICE tenían equipo completo y trataron de romper la puerta y nos apuntaron con sus armas. Yo estaba a su lado grabando y sentí mucho miedo. Los agentes del ICE seguían amenazando con usar la fuerza para entrar en nuestra casa. Por miedo a que hicieran daño a nuestra familia, mi padre decidió obedecer y se entregó. Mi madre está ahora sola con sus tres hijos de 15, 9 y 8 años. Esto nos ha dejado completamente devastados porque fue de repente. Nos han dicho que será deportado. Mi padre no es un criminal, es un padre trabajador y cariñoso. Ahora mismo necesitamos ayuda para poder pagar las facturas mientras nuestro padre no está.
