Last week, My nephew, Michael Martinez saved my family.  We are so grateful for Michael and would love to share our testimony with you all.  As our family went to sleep, Michael heard a beeping noise downstairs and crawled to his parents room to let them know what he heard. His parents checked and they thought it was just a low battery from the smoke detector but this was actually coming from the carbon monoxide alarm.  Michael's mom Angie, googled it and it said that 4 beeps meant a there is an emergency and you must move  to fresh air immediately. Had it not been for Michael and his bravery it could have been a sad outcome  for my whole family. Michael's school was notified about the situation and the teachers were so touched that they  reached out to the news media to cover his story. Since then my sister has been receiving messages saying that '' we would love to contribute to his power wheelchair''.  Michael will be undergoing future surgeries and therapies to help him be able to walk.
