Hi there. My name is Brittany and I have a huge heart for my stray cats. About 2 weeks ago, my husband and I noticed one of my stray cats went missing. On February 8th, he showed back looking like the photo above. Extremely skinny and dirty. He was usually a very clean and healthy cat. We noticed he didn’t want to eat but was drinking a lot of water. He was walking very stiff and seemed very lethargic. We tried to get close to him but he wouldn’t let us grab him. The following day, 2 large dogs caught him off guard and attacked him when we weren’t home. When we came home we saw the footage and were able to get him to come up to us. He’s been our stray for 2 years and has NEVER came up to us or let us even get remotely close to him. We were able to bring him inside and have provided food and water and cleaned him up as best as we can. Unfortunately, our sweet Cheeto passed away in his sleep before we were able to take him to the vet. However, we have more stray kitties that we take care and try to keep safe. We want to raise funds to set up a shed for them were they will be safe, comfortable, and fed in. All funds donated are going directly to our cats as we pay for a lot of their expenses out of pocket. We hope to keep them safe in our backyard and can live happy lives without the added stress of finding food or running from predators.
