First and foremost, I want to express deep compassion and sincerity to each and every person who has shown care and concern by sharing my post. Your continued support truly means the world to me.

For those who may not be aware, my passion for cooking started over 30 years ago. I’ve always believed in putting love into what I do, and that passion led me to create my mobile food truck business, #TheGrillBoss502. I poured my hard-earned money into building two food trucks, all in service of bringing quality barbecue at an affordable price to the people of Louisville, KY and the surrounding areas.

Being a part of the barbecue world has meant everything to me. It’s more than food for me, it’s a way to connect, to serve, and to bring people together. While recent challenges have tested me in ways I never imagined, I’m still standing, and I’m still pushing forward. That’s because this work is my purpose and I’m not ready to give up on the dream I’ve built with my own two hands.

This GoFundMe was created so I can continue that mission: to rebuild, refocus, and return to what I love most which is serving the people with authentic, soulful grilling that comes from the heart.
