Kelly Wike Ministry Fund: A Tribute

Donation protected
Friends, I will be shutting down this fund me account next Wednesday, so if you haven't made a donation, you still have time to do that. Remember, posting to your FaceBook account is another way to support The Kelly Wike Ministries Fund. Kathy asks that I let everyone know that you can go to Lascassas United Methodist Church on FaceBook to see the ministries the church supports. You can volunteer in Kelly's honor to help at the food bank or the upcoming yardsale. If you want to know more about tributes to Kelly or how the fund will be used you can read about that on the church's FaceBook page. Thank you all for your prayers, kind words, support with food and/or donations to this ministry fund to help others in Kelly's memory.--Liz

The family of Kelly Wike was shocked by his sudden death the evening of September 16th.  As friends of this sweet family, we are rallying around them to support them with the sudden loss of not only their dear, sweet husband and father but also a giving and compassionate soul who was a friendly face to all who encountered him.
Kelly was a hard worker who was quick with a smile or a joke, always ready to help where a hand was needed and a constant, steady presence for his wife and children.  He was the rock of this family.  Kelly's giving and kind heart will live on in this fund which will be an honor to his memory and will bless so many others as he always did.
Kelly's beloved wife, Kathy has said that all donations to this site will be used to establish The Kelly Wike Ministry Fund.
Kathy said, "The Kelly Wike Ministry Fund is being set up to benefit ministries Kelly's heart was devoted to.  These include the local monthly food bank and tutorial program and scholarships for educational services in the community.  His heart to help those in need, will continue to bless."
Knowing Kathy having the opportunity to help others in Kelly's memory will be a healing balm to her soul and a fitting tribute to man who spent so much of his life giving to others.
I am Elizabeth Sodergren.  I am a friend of the family.  I will be passing the funds directly to Kathy.   If you have any questions about donations or other ways you can help honor Kelly and bless this sweet family you can email me at [email redacted].
Kelly's funeral will be held Saturday, September 23, 11 a.m. at the Experience Church Student Center in Murfreesboro.  The family will greet friends following a brief interlude after the service.  Donations to The Kelly Wike Ministry Fund can also be made at the service.
