We are the Vasicek's, and life has hit hard this past year. I am a Mayo Clinic patient and have been for the last few months. I have been sick for 5 years and my doctors at home had no idea what was going on. Mayo has been able to figure out what is going on but this will require potentially multiple surgeries, potential chemo and radiation, and many, many 22-hour round trips to Minnesota. I spent a week there just recently and found out that I am facing heart failure and more than one cancer. I am 33 years old with two children, and I'm also the legal guardian for my sister who has multiple health conditions as well. My husband is a disabled veteran and is currently in a wheelchair.

We are reaching out for help. Help to get me to my appointments, help with treatment, groceries, and general care for my family for when I can't be there. My husband is our only income and is currently on disability from work. Each trip costs on average $1500 minimum, with the unplanned trip in two weeks being much higher than anticipated.
