Support the Urban Native Youth Association
We are committed to ongoing reparations and recognizing that systemic oppression and injustice exist. Last year we raised over $26,000 for UNYA, and we are continuing that relationship. We have set a new goal of $10,000 for this year as we know that UNYA's work is continuous and essential.
We also want to support the continuous learning for staff & youth in our programs about not perpetuating the harms of colonization and oppression.
Soaring Eagle Nature School (SENS) has been providing programming for youth since 2009. We recognize that the work of nature connection is built upon stolen Native land and the stolen labour of Indigenous People, Black People, and People of Colour. We recognize that systemic injustice exists and that we have a responsibility to work toward reparations and equity in resources and nature-based programming.
