Support the Turgman Family - Survivors of the Hamas Massacre

The Turgman family faced a harrowing attack on October 7th, carried out by Hamas in Kibbutz Holit, in southwest Isreal. The terrifying sounds of hundreds of terrorists assaulting their neighbors' homes, committing unspeakable crimes, and leaving behind widespread destruction still haunt their wounded souls.

Faced with immediate danger, the Turgman family sought safety in their shelter, where they hid for very distressing hours. Terrorists tried to break into their safe place while shooting and throwing bombs at the door. When they kept inside the terrorists set their house on fire with them inside, saying heartbreaking goodbyes to their children, aged 10 and 12, fearing they might not make it out. They kept the smoke from coming in using their own urine to wetten a blanket.

After going through a long and very frightening experience, and after their house was completely burned, they were finally rescued by the IDF, only to witness their entire kibbutz in ruins, with the lifeless bodies of their friends scattered around, alongside other very distressing sights too difficult to describe here.

סיוע למשפחת תורג׳מן - ניצולי מתקפת הטרור של חמאס

בשביעי לאוקטובר 2023, נאלצו בני משפחת תורגמן, תושבי קיבוץ חולית להתמודד במאבק על חייהם

במהלך מתקפת טרור קטלנית שבוצעה על ידי חאמס. בני המשפחה, דודו וג׳וד והילדים, אופק (12) ואלה (10), נאלצו להתסגר במשך כ- 12 שעות במרחב המוגן בדירתם, ולהגן בגופם על חייהים מפני אותם מחבלים. שעות אלו של חוסר ודאות ופחד קיומי לוו בקריאות של אותם טררוריסטים שהפצירו בהם לצאת ממקום המחסה, וצעקותיהם של שכניהם שנטבחו על ידי חוליית המחבלים של חמאס. מעשי הטרור שכללו פשעים קשים מנשוא, הרס וחורבן משפיעים על מצבם הנפשי עד לרגעים אלו.

בעודם מתמודדים עם סכנת חיים ממשית, משפחת תורגמן הסתתרה בממ״ד. במטרה להפחידם ולגרום להם לצאת החוצה, יירו המחבלים על דלתות הממד וזרקו פצצות. כל זאת בכדי שיצאו מהמ״ד והמחבלים ירצחו בהם ובילדיהם. כשהמחבלים הבינו שלא יצליחו לפרוץ את דלת הממד, שרפו המחבלים את הבית, בעוד משפחת תורגמן נמצאת בפנים. בשלב זה איבדו ההורים את תקוותם כמעט לגמרי, והחלו להיפרד מילדיהם במחשבה שהבלתי נמנע לפניהם. אחד מן האמצעים שעזרו להם לשרוד היתה שמיכה ספוגת שתן שהונחה על פתח הדלת ומנעה כניסת עשן לתוך חדר הממד.

לאחר שעות רבות של פחד ובהלה, ולאחר שביתיהם נשרף על יסודותיו, הם חולצו על ידי כוחות צה״ל. במהלך החילוץ נחשפו למימדי הזוועה. הקיבוץ בו גרו וגידלו את ילדיהם נחרב. גופות רבות היו זרוקות ברחבי הקיבוץ, לצד מראות מזוויעים אחרים.
