Support The Texas Trinitas

My name is Will Vickery, and I am asking for donations on behalf of The Texas Trinitas, a student-led Christian academic journal at the University of Texas at Austin. I helped to found this organization last fall and I currently serve as Editor-in-Chief. We are proud to be the first publication of our kind in the state of Texas, but we are also a member journal of the Augustine Collective, a rapidly growing group of about 25 similar journals across the United States. We plan to publish our first issue this spring, and we see our journal as an opportunity to spread a thoughtful Christian message on a campus where this has recently been sorely lacking.

I set up this GoFundMe because we cannot reach our goal of publishing 2,500 issues this April without financial assistance. Over the past few months we have worked with several Austin-area publishers to build a detailed estimate of publishing costs, and we estimate that each issue will cost $1.50 to print. This leaves us with an initial fundraising goal of $4,000.

Please consider donating to the Trinitas. We are not currently a 501(c)(3), but we are in the process of applying for this status. Any amount will make a big difference for our organization, and every dollar we receive will go directly to ensuring that we gain as widespread a readership as possible during our first semester.
