On 11/14/24 around 7:30 pm, the Stanley residence (home of Andrea, John, and Wesley Stanley in Marietta, Ohio) caught fire. The local fire department responded and did their best to put the fire out, but due to issues with the fire hydrant and the severity of the fire, the house is completely destroyed and is considered a total loss. The family is left with nothing. They are safe and have somewhere to stay for now, but they will have to restart completely in terms of housing, furniture, and all other belongings.
This is a family that is always one of the first to volunteer to help others in their time of need. The community has already done so much to help them, and they are so grateful. At this point, they have enough hygiene and clothing products donated for now, but finances are what they are going to need in order to obtain housing. Please don’t feel obligated to donate, but if you are in a place to, please know it is appreciated more than you could ever know. Thank you.
